August Construction Update
23 August, 2013
Ted Tempany and the Dream Wizards crew continue to be busy with the trail building at the Summit. The trail bridges are being built and some of them are being flown into location. Fabrication is underway on the Sky Pilot Suspension Bridge and the construction crew will be on site over the next few weeks for the installation. The foundation is now complete for the Summit Lodge and last but not least we have started work on the viewing platforms. The Panorama trail viewing platform, the Chief Overlook, is a cantilevered platform hanging out over 100's of feet of pure air! It will provide stunning views of the summit of the Chief, Howe Sound, the upper Stawamus River valley, Diamond Head and much much more.
The fantastic summer weather has certainly helped our construction crews. Here's to our good weather continuing into the fall!
The foundations for the Summit Lodge are complete! Here is a video of the view from the Summit Lodge.
