#HikeFest Highlight: Meet the Guides
20 August, 2015
Join us for HikeFest on Sunday, Sept 13th, 2015
With the fall season approaching, it's a great time to bust out the hiking shoes again. Cooler temperatures, autumn colours and smaller crowds are some of the reasons fall is a refreshing season to enjoy the outdoors and surrounding scenery.
To enhance the fall hiking experience at the Sea to Sky Gondola, we created HikeFest in 2014. This year, we've partnered with key partners in the industry to create a marketplace environment in our Summit Plaza to provide valuable information to all levels of hikers from beginner to advanced. For our free guided hikes, we've partnered with Mountain Academy and Adventures (MSAA). MSAA's guides bring expansive knowledge, experience and passion to the overall hiking experience and we're please to introduce them to you today.Eric
Eric will lead the 12pm Half version of Al's Habrich hike during HikeFest. Eric brings high enthusiasm, a lifetime of mountain passion and a great breadth of experience and expertise to Mountain Skills Academy & Adventures, for whom he is also the Chief Guide. He has worked in all the great ranges of the world, spending considerable time in the Alps but chooses Canada as his base and favourite place to live and work.Kenzie
