Q&A: How is the Via Ferrata at the Sea to Sky Gondola?

Heather K. from Tourism Squamish was one of the first people to experience our new Via Ferrata. This is what she had to say about her experience:

Why did you try the Via Ferrata?
I wanted to try something different and exciting and that's exactly what the Sea to Sky Gondola Via Ferrata is.

What did you enjoy the most?
The scenery I enjoyed most because you see it from a different perspective to just being up at the deck. The views of the Howe Sound, Sky Pilot and Copilot are so different.

I love trying new things so it was thrilling to do this. It was definitely a challenge for me and I loved it.. I would absolutely do it again..Twenty times over. I can't wait to do it again!

What is your favourite part of the route?
Getting to the top. The rush of it and seeing the view change as you reach it.

Do you have experience doing the Via Ferrata? Do you think a beginner could do it?
I haven't done anything like it before. It's definitely beginner-friendly and the guide was amazing and made sure we felt safe and secure the whole way.

Any general comments:
Such a unique, authentic experience that everyone should try. The guide added a nice touch with his expertise and passion for the adventure.
