Q&A with THROWN

THROWN is a mobile axe-throwing business that offers you the opportunity to throw an axe in a controlled environment. The THROWN team will be located at our Summit Plaza and guests can participate by either doing a casual throw or sign-up for a friendly tournament during select dates.

They will be onsite:

• Every Saturday (until June 18)
• 10:30am - 8:00pm
• With tournaments from 1-3pm and 5-7pm

We recently had the opportunity to connect with Shea Emry, co-founder of THROWN to find out more about his new business venture and what they will be doing at the gondola over the next 4 weeks.

If I wanted to participate in the tournament, how do I register and how does it work?

You can register by either purchasing on our website or else visiting us at the Summit Plaza at the gondola. The tournament numbers vary depending on online signups and drop-ins and numbers can run from 12-64 people. The format is double elimination with a minimum of five throws per match with a potential of playing in 5-8 potential matches. You can also sign up solo and will match you to a team! Did I mention prizes?

How about if you want to practice throwing vs being in a tournament?

Yes! Come throw with us. We will be offering "Have-A-Throw" in between the tournament times. You get 10 throws with the Have-A-Throw experience.

If you have kids, can they throw?

Yes, kids can throw for free using our foam axes and separate target.

What's the deal with pricing, and how can I pay onsite?

You can pay onsite at the Summit Plaza or else pre-register on the THROWN website.

$45 for tournaments per person / practice throws pre-tournament are included

$15 for "Have-A-Throw" which includes 10 throws

Kids are Free (up to 12 is free with foam axes only).

How old do you have to be?

If you are between 12-18 years old you need to be accompanied by a legal guardian. All participants must sign a waiver.
