Some tricks, all treats this Halloween at the Sea to Sky Gondola
01 October, 2014
Squamish, BC - The Sea to Sky Gondola has a few tricks - and treats - up
their sleeves this Halloween as they gear up to host their first annual trick or
treat at the Summit Lodge and Panorama Trail. The free event (with
purchase of gondola access) takes place on Saturday October 25 from 1-
4pm and will be the last official event before the gondola closes for
scheduled maintenance from November 3 - 26.
In December, expect traditional holiday-themed celebrations and activities
such as a winter-inspired menu, snowshoeing, snow tubing, traditional
Christmas carols, Santa photos and holiday tales. Several community and
special events have taken place at the Gondola since its opening day
earlier this year, including a Winemakers Dinner, Sunset Music Series,
HikeFest and Summer Solstice which at the time attracted the highest
number of visitors in a single day.
The Halloween event welcomes costume-clad trick-or-treaters of all ages
for DIY Trick-or-Treat bag making, face painting and seasonal surprises
along with a one-day-only trick-or-treat course on the Panorama Trail.
Admission is free with Gondola lift tickets or passes. Early Bird Winter
Season passes, valid from November 27 to April 30, 2015, are on sale now
until October 13.
