Spirit of Christmas

With snow and the approach of December comes the holiday season. The Christmas holidays are a time for friends and family to get together and enjoy all that winter has to offer. This year come and celebrate the Spirit of Christmas at the Sea to Sky Gondola.

After our official winter opening on November 27^th, we will be open weekly Thursday – Sunday and daily from December 19^th to January 4^th. Throughout the festive season there will be events and activities for the whole family, starting with the inaugural lighting of the Sea to Sky Christmas Tree at the Summit Lodge on Friday November 28.

Local school groups will be performing Christmas recitals, the North Shore Choir will pay a visit for an afternoon of Christmas caroling and there will be children’s story readings and pancake brunch and a visit from St Nick himself.

Each weekend from December 5^th to the 21^st, the Sea to Sky Gondola will showcase one local artisan featuring hand made products such as home décor, jewelry, clothing and specialty food products.

With its new winter menu the Summit Lodge will host a series of evening dinners throughout the holidays. There will be a candlelight dinner series each Friday and Saturday from December 5^th to December 20^th and a fondue dinner on December 27^th.

The Sea to Sky Gondola is excited to celebrate our first Christmas in Sea to Sky Country. From snowshoeing on our purpose built snowshoe trails, winter walking and sightseeing, to spending an afternoon getting rowdy with the kids in our tube park, or enjoying an evening meal with a loved one, the Sea to Sky Gondola is your home for the holidays.
