CAN I MAKE ADVANCE RESERVATIONS FOR THE GONDOLA?

No, we do not accept reservations for gondola rides. Standard Day Tickets are valid for ANY DAY until the printed expiration date.

CAN I MAKE ADVANCE RESERVATIONS FOR SUMMIT EATERIES?

The Sky Pilot Eatery and The Co-Pilot Cafe are open daily with seating available both inside and outside on the patio (as weather permits). Both are grab and go restaurants and reservations are not required. Backyard Bites will be open in peak season.

WHAT ARE THE HOURS OF OPERATION?

Hours vary. Please review our Hours & Prices for more information.

IS THE SUSPENSION BRIDGE INCLUDED IN THE TICKET PRICE?

YES! The suspension bridge is simply part of our network of trails at the summit.

WILL THE GONDOLA ACCEPT CASH AS PAYMENT?

At this time, we do not accept cash as payment at any of our food outlets or retail gift shops. If you are unable to pay by debit or credit card, you may purchase a Sea to Sky Gondola Gift Card from Guest Services with an exact-change cash payment.

CAN I UPGRADE MY DAY TICKET TO AN ANNUAL PASS?

Yes! Please visit Guest Services within 7 days of your original purchase, with a copy of your receipt and/or Day Ticket. The cost of your Day Ticket will be credited towards the balance of your Annual Pass. For Annual Pass rates and membership perks, please refer to our annual passes.

DO YOU HAVE A TRAIL MAP FOR SEA TO SKY GONDOLA TRAILS?

We have gone paperless and offer a trail map via our free Trail Map App. Printed maps are not available at this time.

HOW MUCH IS PARKING?

Parking is $8 for 4 hours or $10 for the day. Pay using the Pay By Phone App or at Guest Services. (Annual passholders receive complimentary parking). During high visitation months there is no overnight parking. Pay parking will be in effect daily from May 1 - October 1, 2024.

IS THE SEA TO SKY GONDOLA WHEELCHAIR AND STROLLER ACCESSIBLE?

Yes, the gondola cabins are wheelchair and stroller-accessible. The Summit Lodge and viewing deck are also accessible (weather conditions permitting).
For visitors with babies and young children, the Panorama Trail and Spirit Trail are stroller accessible.

ARE PETS ALLOWED ON THE GONDOLA AND SEA TO SKY GONDOLA TRAILS?

ARE DRONES ALLOWED ON THE GONDOLA AND SEA TO SKY GONDOLA TRAILS?

For safety reasons, drones are not allowed on the Sea to Sky Gondola property or Summit tenure area.

CAN YOU BRING SKI/SNOWBOARD EQUIPMENT ON THE GONDOLA WITH YOU?

Yes, during the winter months (conditions permitting), you are able to bring your ski/snowboard equipment up with you if you have the appropriate backcountry gear with you. Please be aware of the avalanche danger and always check current avalanche conditions.

WHAT IS YOUR SMOKING POLICY?

The Sea to Sky Gondola and the Summit Lodge are entirely smoke and vape-free. We want a smoke-free experience so all guests can enjoy the fresh air. No smoking or vaping is permitted on the grounds by any guest or team member. Especially in the summer months, we are on high alert for forest fires and smoking is strictly prohibited.

IS THE SEA TO SKY GONDOLA OPEN YEAR-ROUND?

Sea to Sky Gondola is open daily, year-round but will be closed for annual maintenance on November 12 and reopening on November 29.

Guest Services & Basecamp Gift Shop will remain open daily.

HOW LONG IS THE GONDOLA RIDE?

The gondola ride is approximately 10 minutes from our base to the summit.

WHAT IS THE ELEVATION OF THE SUMMIT LODGE?

Our Summit Lodge is located at 885m above Howe Sound.

HOW MANY GONDOLAS ARE THERE?

There are 39 gondolas that hold 640kg/1,140lbs or a maximum of 8 people.

DO YOU ACCEPT TOURISM CHALLENGE PRIVILEGE PASSES?

2023 Tourism Challenge guests are welcome to visit any day with the exception of Friday, Saturday or Sunday June 16th to September 10th, long weekends and BC Statutory holidays throughout the year. One visit per day. Please bring government issued ID. Statutory holidays - Province of British Columbia (gov.bc.ca)

DO YOU PAUSE ANNUAL PASSES DURING ANNUAL MAINTENANCE CLOSURE?

No, we do not put annual passes on hold during our annual maintenance closure.
