Start Date: June End Date: mid to late September
Shifts: minimum availability of two to four shifts per month

Reporting to the Assistant Manager, Guest Services, our ideal candidate will be a passionate individual with amazing people skills – and have the drive to connect with our guests. Someone with an enthusiasm for guest service, who will provide directions, suggestions and ideas to ensure each and every guest has a great experience.
This role requires the ability to work outdoors, speak to our guests, and identify their needs for information; all with a smile. Encompassing and leading by our core values, this position offers an amazing opportunity to expand your skill set and gain valuable knowledge in the Sea to Sky Gondola’s guest experience.
All team members at Sea to Sky Gondola are expected to abide by and follow company policy, Provincial Health Orders and WorksafeBC requirements regarding Covid-19.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet and interact with guests, promoting Sea to Sky Gondola facilities and services
- Distribute promotional material on site and around the area as required
- Act as an ambassador of Sea to Sky Gondola, and Squamish
- Assisting and supporting the interpretive tours
- Participation in and execution of special events
- Assist guests in the Gondola maze during peak times
- Collect and report feedback from guests
- Ensure that Sea to Sky Gondola service standards are maintained
- Be committed to the program
- Respect confidentiality
- Be accountable and accept feedback
- Stay safe on the job and work for the safety of others around
- Communicate any issues or concerns which are likely to affect your volunteer duties
- Follow and abide by the policies and procedures of the organization
- Perform other duties as needed by the department manager, and as needed by other departments as requested
Required Skills and Experience:
- Friendly, personable and outgoing demeanor
- Reliable and punctual
- Enjoy going above and beyond in ensuring a positive guest experience
- Knowledge of the services and facilities at the Sea to Sky Gondola
- Expertise on Sea to Sky Gondola trail network an asset
- Ability to work two to four shifts per month
- Weekend availability an asset
- Ability to stand on your feet in the elements of a mountain environment
- Legally eligible to work in Canada is a requirement
