Petgill Lake Trail
A great trail for the hiker looking for an advanture with a backcountry feel. Discover a gradual ascent connecting the southeast side of Shannon Basin Loop to the tranquil Petgill Lake, nestled on the far west side of Goat Ridge.
DIRECTIONS:
SUMMIT LODGE TO START OF TRAIL | 3.9 KM | 1 - 1.5 HOURS
- Follow the backcountry access road to Sky pilot/Shannon Basin intersection
- Take a right at the fork and then cross the Shannon Creek Bridge
- From here head straight until you reach the Skyline/Shannon Basin intersection
- Bear left for 100 m onto the Skyline Ridge Trail before you get to an intersection and sign outlining the start of the Petgill Trail
PETGILL LAKE TRAIL | 5.8 KM | 2 - 4 HOURS
- This trail is an obvious out and back trail, follow the logging road
- Please not there are no trail tags on the trail
END OF TRAIL TO SUMMIT LODGE | 3.9 KM | 1 - 1.5 HOURS
- Follow the Shannon Basin to the Shannon Creek Bridge
- Follow the backcountry access road to the Summit Lodge
